I have been using Lippincott's, and my Lehninger's Biochemistry text from college to supplement my lecture notes. The text is not that detailed in many areas, but Lippincott's is pretty good.

I was just reccommended to check out "Metabolism At A Glance" to help study. It is an amazing supplement, and if you're looking to tie everything together, it's superb. Definitely check it out!!

I have Metabolism at a glance too by J.G. Salway. Amazing book that tied everything togehter. Taking an exam on metabolism unit and the thing is probably the best material I've seen that absolutely connects all pathways together into a nice coherent package.

For those interested:
ISBN: 1-4051-0716-2

Only thing is, the book is huge, and barely fits in my bookbag.

BRS (board review series, aka checkerboard). i'm almost done with biochem and i realize now i could have probably used that as a sole text with the lecture notes. it does a great job of pointing out the major concepts with details.

Are you saying the length and width of the book are large or are you saying that the book has many many pages and is, thus, ironically named "metabolism at a glance"?
