I'm going to be a first year in a month, and I've been reading this book that I think has given me good perspective on medicine...thought I would share it with all my fellow about to be med students.

It's called

A Life in Medicine by Robert Coles (a pulitzer prize winner and harvard psychiatrist).

It's a bunch of personal short stories and poems. Has anyone else read it?
