I was wondering what a good book was to study for Gen Chem for the DAT. I forgot almost everything I've learned from Gen Chem I and II. I would go through the text book again, but that would be a very long process. I want something that could teach me everything about chemistry in a more condensed form. Any books out their?

All the usual study guides for the DAT are fine for the genchem. Kaplan is pretty easy and overview of everything and when you finish your reviewing you might want to try destroyer because it has a bunch of hard questions too that other resources sometimes skip and hits a lot of good details. Thats my opinion everyone will tell you something different prob. Good luck!

Use the Kaplan Blue Book for an overview. Then supplement your G-Chem text book for sections you had a hard time with. Then use Destroyer to make you feel like you didn't learn a thing...
