I loved Lilly's Pathophysiology of Heart Disease for the basic science/pathology of cardiology. I also used the obligatory Dubin's Rapid Interpretation of EKGs. When I did my CICU elective, I didn't get anything new then a little pink pocket book something like the "CICU Intern's Survival Guide," which was pretty helpful for day-to-day information.
