Good luck to all of you who took or are getting ready to take the MCAT. Waiting for scores is very frustrating. For those of you who are applying for the first time to medical school, this is just the beginning of a year of waiting for one thing or another. Let's see:
Waiting for MCAT scores
For AMCAS to verify your application and send it out.
For schools to send you secondaries.
For recommendation letter writers to get their acts together.
For your transcripts to get verified. For your senior year grades. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
For the schools to offer you interviews.
For the acceptances, rejections and waitlists to come in. <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />
Have I missed any?
So think of this as good practice, and try not to let it get you down--get some kind of stress relief ritual going.
