to all the current EM residents, good luck! Can't wait to crack open that brewski tomorrow at lunch. We get the day off and our program is going out to lunch, and then a day at the golf course, w/ concominant alcohol.

Mmm, EM residents, alcohol, and golf carts...

Luck? Screw that - we're all so f'n brilliant, it will be fine!

We don't get any semblance of any time off - a bunch of my colleagues work at 1pm, and I'm overnight.

I did ZERO prep - studying for the inservice is counterintuitive. If you're not learning it during the year, that's where the fault lies. (The prior 2 sentences are predicated on being in a program where advancement is not based on inservice performance - in that case, I can understand prepping for it.)
