Okay last week I did this and got my colorado interview, but was rejected from Pritzker. My son used the letter to aid in his teething woes. It is now a mass of mushy pulp on our basement floor.

SO, for this week let's do this, good luck thread:

I will take ONE of the following:
--interview invites from either Loyola or GW--as much as I like to be held, this hold bs is getting ridiculous
--ShyRem gets an interview invite from Colorado, preferably on the same day as me, but I am flexible (as is she)

In exchange, you can do the following:
--rejections from all the other Chicago schools to which I applied (UIC and Rush)

That seems fair to me. Make it happen.

completely non-sequitur, but whatever....in other news, any other 30 or over women have this...my flatmates and i were comparing notes this weekend, and since turning 30 we've all turned into 17-year old boys in a number of ways. first, there's the oft-mentioned change in, ahem, "drive" shall we say. but then, we also have all had drastic changes in our musical taste. one friend went from bluegrass to hardcore punk. another was into opera and classical and now only listens toold grunge (a lot of soundgarden and stone temple pilots lately). i used to be really indie, and now all i listen to is eminem and rage against the machine and tool and nin. we've also all become really aggressive slightly reckelss drivers and keep having to resist selling our saturns and volvos in exchange for pick up trucks or classic sportcars like 66 mustangs. what's up with this?
