I don't know about a specific tutor, but I highly recommend the Princeton Review in the South Florida area. My class was up in Broward, but I know they offer classes in Coral Gables and they also have private courses for interested students.
I was hesitant at first to sign up for a prep course, but I ultimately decided to go for it to avoid having any excuses If I ended up doing poorly...I hate regretting things.
Long story short, my first diagnostic was scary...19 (The Princeton tests are harder than the actual MCAT practice tests, but they provide you with a batch of both tests), but little by little my scores started improving and I ended up with a 31P.
The instructors were very knowledgeable and the books + online features were second to none.
