Southwest Airlines just announced that their round trip fares will be priced between $78 and $198 with 14 days advance booking for anywhere in the lower 48 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thusdays (slightly higher for other days). Rival airlines may fall in line. Once you know your plans, be sure to jump on those reservations.

    Thanks Groundhog,

Also, I have heard that JetBlue is a great airline as well. It offers limited destinations, but the prices are very cheap and they have tvs and leather seating for all passengers. I know they fly to Ft. Lauderdale (NOVA) and New York and some other destinations with dental schools nearby.

A guy that lives three door down from me started JetBlue -- it is indeed a fantastic airline. I've experienced it four times now, and nothing beats it! Every seat is like first class!
