Hi everyone! This is my first post and I just wanted to share some good news: I just heard from the last rolling-admission school I've applied to and guess what? I got in!! I applied to 19 schools and interviewed at all of them (finished them last week--whew!) and I've been accepted at all the schools that are rolling admission. I'm just waiting to hear back from some of the non-rolling schools like Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, etc. I'm so ecstatic! I didn't realize this process would go so smoothly-- I thought that getting into med school was the hardest part! Everyone I've met through this process has been SO amazing and helpful-- I can't wait to be a med student!

Anyway, just wanted you let you know that there is hope and the med application process can be enjoyable if you stay optimistic! Let me know if any of you need any advice!! I'd be thrilled to share my experiences.

Thanks, glad to hear that "there is hope." Now that i have heard firsthand from someone claiming to have gotten a 43 on the mcat and having been interviewed and accepted at every school she/he applied to, I feel so inspired--miracles do happen guys. My hope is indeed restored. Thank you for your wonderful story, mcat43. You are an inspiration to us mere mortals down in the MCAT 30-39 range. 🙄 🙄 🙄

Hi again. I totally didn't mean to upset anybody and I'm sorry if I sounded pretentious. I was just really excited about my recent acceptance (as I'm sure many of you know how that feels.) I didn't expect my post to get such an aggressive response from the people using this forum... I guess I'm new to all this. But yeah, I didn't mean to piss you off.

alright then. if you are sincere about helping us please post your acceptances in the acceptance thread (including interview dates and mode of acceptance communication). also, if possible can you pm me your personal statement? i haven't gotten into a single school yet and i just want to know what i'm doing wrong.

Congrats! That's almost as cool as when I won my gold medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in tennis, swimming and the marathon (just thought i'd try it!)

Anyone else find it suspicious that someone that supposedly has a 43 on the MCAT is applying to at least 24 schools? Not to mention that the day she hears back from the last rolling admissions school is also her birthday, the day she registers on SDN, and the day of her first post. 🙄

Why don't you tell us where you went to school? Wait let me guess, You'd be jealous in Massachusetts, must be Harvard. Whoopty-doo. I have no regrets about my undergrad institution, UW-Madison, and in fact would pick Madison over Harvard or Yale or etc. any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Since you're such an expert on the application process, let's settle one question once and for all:
What's the right color suit to wear to an interview? 😀
