how many people out there got in after taking the mcat 3 times? if so, what schools and what scores?
A guy who taught my Princeton Review class got in after taking it 3 times. The first two times, he barely studied and third time, he took TPR and his score was above 30 (I'm not sure what exactly). So yes, there is hope.
I know someone who got in after taking MCAT 4 !!!times
I know someone who got into UCI on his fifth attempt.
I took the MCAT three times and applied to med school three times...I don't think I took enough practice tests the first two times but the last time I really worked at it. My scores went from 23 to 25 to 34...I had a total of 10 interviews and 4 acceptances this year (the rest waitlists) and I'm going to my top choice!
i would only take the mcat 3 times at gunpoint <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />
my condolences to anyone who's gone through that...i think you should get admission to any med school just for such a valiant effort <img border="0" alt="[Clappy]" title="" src="graemlins/clappy.gif" />
