as for me, i'm still in limbo with the 8/15 amcas bunch, and still no word...

UCSF was definatley a shot in hell school i just applied to didnt expect much. I really just want to get into a california school got an unexpected interview invite at Irvine, as a non-resident i figured my best shots were USC and Loma Linda which im still waiting to here anything from, ive been complete at both for about 3 weeks. It was my first rejection so it stung a bit, then i thought about it and i was like its UCSF, a top 3 school so i got over it quick

Check the USC application website every now and then (ie not everyday). They say nothing's wrong with their email, but I never found out I had an interview invite until I checked the website.

Jackets5, sorry to hear about your rejection...I got mine in the mail yesterday too (I was in the 8/15 batch of people that was verified). You seem to be taking it well. I would love to hear from any of the UCs - I have an interview at USC, but it would be nice to get a little love from one my state schools - they all seem to hate me 🙁

Betcha $20 mine comes today. The 8 week period post-secondary was up yesterday and no change on the status page. Sounds like a thin envelope to me!

Again, as an out of state person wasnt expecting much from the UC's (so i was really surprised to get an interview at Irvine). UCSF sure does word the rejection nicely though.

I was complete at USC on 10/14 and I just got my invite yesterday. By the way, I'm sure you know this but USC is not one of the UCs, it's private.

I was complete at USC on 8/15 and received an interview invite on 9/13. I scheduled my interview fairly late 11/22 to coincide with Thanksgiving break for financial reasons (plane tickets are expensive). Hopefully you will here from them soon. Since my mail goes to my CA address I didn't actually read the UCSF rejection, I am sure it was nice, but I am still bitter - they were my number one choice.

yeah, i know SC is a private school, I guess my post was a bit vauge.

I second this question. I saw that USC finally cashed my check a couple days ago...good or bad, I am expecting to hear from them soon. when do they send out post-secondary rejections?

I'm pretty confident I will get my letter of shame today. I haven't checked my mail for four days. Now looking back at it, I should have just saved money instead of waisting it on UCSF and UCSD.

Ditto. The mailman comes at noon. My rejection from UCSF has got to be there by now. They had my app in July, got my MCAT scores mid Oct and still no love. I think it's got to be a rejection at this point.
