You have 500 hours of shadowing?

Is that too little or too much? Thanks!
It's an order of magnitude too high. But that's not a big deal.

What sorts of clinical experience did you have? Was any of it volunteering?

You have a highly competitive application. Apply to any of the top 20s that you like. Look around SDN and you’ll find a good list of what the top 20s are. Apply to all your state schools. Also add some mid tier schools. I foresee you receiving lots of interviews this cycle as long as your essays are okay.

Yeah, can you break down that 500 hours of shadowing by specialty (as requested in the template)? Specifics for non-clinical volunteering hours? No posters or pubs with research? Did you do any sort of co-op or project as part of your engineering curriculum? How much networking have you done with any of the schools suggested to you in this thread (from Faha)?
