GPA Calculations

Hey guys, I recently read on a D.O. thread that the application system doesnt count the lower grade in GPA calculations if you have retaken a class. The schools still see both of the grades, but AACOMAS only uses the better grade. Does anyone know if AMCAS does the same thing? Does anyone know anything else about it? Thanks!

No AMCAS doesn't let you cheat the system.

It is not "allowing you to cheat the system." They still see all grades. However, I can see your point.
