There is still a spot in a GPR residency in Bangor, ME for the upcoming academic year. The resident's experience will include surgical and nonsurgical exodontia, root canal thearpy, removable, both complete and partial, fixed, restorative and pediatric patients. Furthermore once a month we have local private practice specialists come in and in addition to lecturing help with complicated procedures.
An Oral surgeon comes to oversee extractions of impacted wisdom teeth, apicoectomies, frenectomies, pre-prostethic surgery and biopsies.
A periodontist helps with implant placements, free gingival grafts, hard tissue grafts, crown lengthening procedures and osseous recontouring
An orthodontist assits with general ortho consults as well as phase one orthodontic therapy, mostly but not limited to maxillary palatal expanders and lip bumpers.
A prosthodontist assists with complicated removable and fixed cases.
