Is there anyone here doing a GPR residency on a J1 visa?
Why J1 visa and not F1? You understand that J visa requires that you return to your country after you finish your program right?
While F visa gives you the option of OPT status which is a 1 year work permit. With opt you can finish your license exam and find a job and later transfer to H1b visa or green card if you find a sponsor. I hope this helps
