I just ran a credit check and I have a $200 medical bill that went to collections in October of 2012. Does anyone know if I will still qualify for the loans with this when school starts? I was reading about it and it does not look like you can have it removed.

You will still qualify. You can have up to, IIRC, around 2k in debt from the last 2 years and still qualify. So you're okay

Not a huge deal. From what I've been told, something has to be really, really wrong with your credit to be denied a Grad Plus loan (i.e. defaulting on past student loans or getting your house foreclosed on).
