I know that AACOMAS calculates undergrad and grad school GPA all in one, but do schools also look at each GPA separately? Does anyone have any experience applying to DO schools with a low undergrad GPA followed by an excellent grad school GPA? Thanks for any input!

I know of someone in this forum that this this but he's out on vacation....

I personally have not experience with this, but I would assume that the adcoms will see the different transcripts and make a judgement on that.... possibly seeing the two gpa's as separate but equal entities :D

Osteopathic medical school admissions looks at the entire applicant so I'm sure that they will consider the two different degrees in a different light.... Gestalt!!! (WHOLE!!!).... It's the whole person they are trying to evaluate....

But what do I know.... These are just assumptions.... Ask me again in about a year because by then I'll be a part of the interviewing and voting process (or so shall I try)
