Question regarding how to decide when putting together a school list? So some schools have higher median GPA acceptances and percentiles than others, and its a big factor when deciding which schools to apply for.

My situation is besides my freshman year (got a B in Chem I and C in Chem II), ive gotten all A's from sophomore year until I graduated. But... my AMCAS GPA calculated is 3.75 cGPA and 3.79 sGPA. Should I be mainly sticking to the range of my GPA schools/lower or aim for schools with averages of 3.8cGPA and higher?

Disclaimer: don't have MCAT score yet, studying rn

Assuming the AMCAS GPA Grid shows near 4.0 for the 3 years, I would balance with more reach schools than one typically would. But as @gyngyn says MCAT will ultimately decide

Thanks for feedback!
