Hi. I'm currently at a crossroads as far as my options this coming fall go. I've applied to both the rosalind franklin SMP, and also to the graduate student at large program at the university of chicago..
my gpa is around a 3.2 sci/3.4 overall, and I have a 30 MCAT. i'm applying to medical school this summer, ( osteopathic and allopathic) and am looking to fill in my gap year.

here's my predicament :

I'm not interested at all in attending CMS / rosalind franklin for medical school. Is it worth the 35k for the year, just to get the Masters??

OR

Is it better to pay 16k for the year, and take more undergrad AND grad courses at the university of chicago, and work in a chemistry lab in the city?? but with NO masters to show for my time?

any input is appreciated. thanks everyone!
