Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this question. I' m graduating a year early from college. I would like to stay longer, but I am running out of both money and required credits (17 left). However, I'm not ready to apply during this cycle. I only just started studying for the MCAT and I'm lacking in extracurriculars (though I have strong academics with 2 years in a lab, soon to be published paper and more on the way, work with a neurosurgeon on neoplastic meningitis). This may be a ridiculous question, but Will graduating early hurt my chances for medical school? What should I do with my year off? Can I talk about my plans on my med school application?

I would really appreciate any advice people can give me.

It is ridiculous. Why on earth would you think that graduating early would be a bad thing????

Get a job and earn some money. Fill in any holes in your app.

Yes, there's space for it.
Can I talk about my plans on my med school application?
