I'm thinking of applying to an MD/PhD program that requires a GRE score. The deadline is 12/1 but now that the GREs have that written section, does anyone know how long it takes to get the scores out to schools? From the GRE website it says 4 days for the scores to be sent out, but I dont know if that includes the written section.

4 weeks, I believe, for the official score report including writing score. The other sections are available within a few days-week. You might want to email GRE directly to ask whether your scores are sent to the schools before or after the writing sections are scored.

Actually the analytical section IS the writing section. Your verbal and MATH scores are posted on the computer immediately following. The official score report come within 4 weeks, on 'off peak' season it can get to you as soon as 2 weeks. I assume it is the same for the schools.
