Hey guys, as a lot of you guys know the GRE has been dropped by a lot of schools this coming cycle. Nonetheless, some of the schools that I am planning to apply has the requirement as "optional". My GRE scores are not great and was wondering if I could get advice in whether I should hand in my GRE scores or not since I know that it can potentially harm my application. Thanks so much in advance.

My GRE Scores

1st time:
Verbal: 155 (67th percentile)
Quant: 158 (65th percentile)
Writing: 4.0 (55th percentile)

2nd time:
Verbal: 158 (79th percentile)
Quant: 156 (59th percentile)
Writing: 4.0 (55th percentile)

Personally if I was you I would not bother submitting it if they say it's optional. Most schools won't allow it to sway their decision one way or another. If you're looking to take it again and then submit it only do so when you feel you are ready and think you can improve since the two scores you've presented do not seem to have a massive difference between each other.
