Great Flash to Understand Fluid Exchange in Capillaries

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Good find.

Very straight forward when you just look at the net pressures, but I found myself to get confused during the cardiovascular section of my physio course broke them down into their components such as capillary hydrostatic and oncotic pressure and interstitial hydrostatic and oncotic. Foolish, but true.

Good thing to think about in your prep is what are the consequences of a block before or after the capillary and how the pressures become affected.
