Hi everyone.. I was wondering if the applicant has a better chance if he/she has a green card/EAD for the admission procedures to any school.
Are there any schools which would be a possibility with 84 with the above criteria...
Thanks in advance

If you have green card holder or H-1, H-4 visa or student visa or visitor visa, it doesn't affect for the admission procedures, only it affects for the getting the financial loans, the exceptions are for UIC, STony brook, Buffalo, and florida uni. Because these universities only accept green card holders or the students who are under the process of permanent residency. This is what I believe, it may be differed by others. Main thing are the part-I score, Toefl and ECE score, and your us experience, are important.

hi stelon,
i think it does make a difference..........if you hav a green card, but it is one of the many things schools look for......some schools like BU even hav a different application fee for residents and non residents, then how can one believe that green card doesnt make a difference??why would they not prefer a green card holder over somone else with similar stats?i personally know somone who applied to BU with a 90 and was waitlisted one year, second year she got a green card and reapplied with the same scores, n GOT IN BU

Hi thanks for the information, May be Bu is accepting the green card holders because of financial factor, Bu is the exception regarding this. But if you viewing the california schools, they are allowing every students who have good score, and good application not the geen card or permanent residency. still I believe that permanent residency is not a influencing factor for admission. bye

hello muscle man,

u have a green card, and u have many extra schools who accept u for a program, u just check up every dental school and u ll sure find programs for international students who are either residents or ctizens only
all the best dont waste time for exclusive international student school
