Grignard Reagent Question electrophillic/nucleophillic?

So CH2MgX let's say C has a partial negative charge here

So it's a nucleophile

But in my notes i write that it is always for electrophillic addition...wouldn't it be nucleophillic addition?

Generally the Grignard reagent is used to add a nucleophile to some electrophilic group. You probably just got your words mixed up in your notes.
