Hi everyone,

As I found out from my results last semester, I would have to remediate gross anatomy during the summer. After talking with my course coordinator, he said they usually have us enroll in the Drexel summer remediation program that Dr. Dennis DePace runs for 6 weeks through Drexel U.

Does anyone have any experience with the course and possibly any advice? Any insight and tips would be greatly appreciated. As i've found out through first year, Gross Anatomy is my weakest subject in the basic sciences.

Also, if anyone feel's uncomfortable posting publicly and has some advice they'd be willing to share, a private message is also appreciated!

I don't know anything about this program, but the only advice you need is:

Study.
Get in the lab.
Draw the structures.
Watch videos of clinically relevant anatomy
When you're out of the lab, close your eyes and visualize the relationships.
Study.

Surgery, the most practical application of anatomy, is a lot about knowing what to expect when you're doing something and recognizing all the connections and relationships to confirm that you in fact are seeing what you think you should be seeing.

Do Dr DePace’s practice questions! Also the clinical case things.
