Grouping Paid and Unpaid Clinical Hours

If I work as an EMT for company A and volunteer for company B, can I combine these activities into one AMCAS activity slot as paid clinical? I do not have AMCAS activity slots to spare, in which case I would separate them.

For which company have you worked the most hours or are you the most involved?

Currently, the paid has more hours, but it may change by the time of application. I will have ~250 with the paid company and TBD with the volunteer, but I am aiming for ~250 volunteer. I would be formally an EMT-B in the paid role but an EMR in the volunteer role.

Split them. The slightly different role and the volunteer nature of the experience tell me that it is most honest to split them.
