Guessing a sign of lack of knowledge?

So say you are guessing one a few questions in a section, does that mean that you need work in those areas,
and that those areas are the "possibly conquerable areas"?, which means you need to put in more time working on those areas and the next time they shouldn't be a problem? Is this right. Please excuse my ignorance, as I'm taking my MCAT the first time in Aug.

I am talking only about the science sections ofcourse not the verbal.

Are the questions you're guessing on related to pure knowledge, or do you just not understand the passage? If it's the former, you have to reveiw the material. If it's the latter, get used to the style of the question, do lots of practice questions, and you'll be fine.
