Gulf War Syndrome and Psychopathology?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As far as I know, there hasn't been much.

It's a pretty old article, but you might want to check this out-

Roy, M.J., et al. (1998). Signs, symptoms, and ill-defined conditions in Persian Gulf War veterans: Findings from the comprehensive clinical evaluation program. Psychosomatic Medicine, 60(6), 663-668.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I don't want to say too much because I'm not actually sure how much is kosher to talk about online, but I have the opportunity to come up with a side project in my lab and this whole syndrome is very complicated and controversial, what with neuro stuff, and psych stuff, and how both manifest in physical symptoms, and then other separate physical symptoms, I'm jumping into new waters.

I may start a new thread to ask this in case this one has died, but I'm curious, when you come across a new area that you know nothing about, how do you hook up with people who are also thinking about these things (aside from the obvious lit searches). I have always worked adjunct to VA psychiatry but have always found the system very difficult to navigate outside the narrow field of "my" VA (or even inside my VA).
