GW letter of intent/interest/ straight out plea!!

ok someone plsss help me here. I got waitlisted today at GW. it is my top choice i REALLLLLY want ot go there, and i know some poepl have had succes with letters of interest there. Pls tell me what you put in and any advice id REALLY apreciate thanks so much!

Another question is even if you write a very nice LOI, who do u send it to? The admissions office? The director of admissions?

Who's to say that any influential member on the committee would actually look for LOIs filed in your application folder and patiently read them if there are also many other applicants who do the same thing? I wrote a letter of "interest" to U Mich to the director and she having read it told me she will consider it again after march 31st.
