GWU Committee Question

I've been calling the admissions office for the past three weeks and each time they've told me my application is still in the hands of the committee (I interviewed at GWU around December 10th). This seems like a long time. Does anyone know how long the committee usually spends considering applications?

I don't want to discourage you, but from my experience, GW lies. I called them twice within a week to check on my status: first, they told me they sent me some "information," second, the told me that my file is under review. The next day I got a rejection letter by REGULAR MAIL. I live in NYC. Though I obviously hate rejections, I don't respect schools that lie. Good luck.

During my interview, I was told that it would may take them up to 8 weeks to get back to us. Just be patient and hope for the best!
