H1B visa in NY/Mass/Cali

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen and will be graduating from a US osteopathic medical school next year. I performed well on boards and have lots of extracurricular activities and am an all-round nice guy (and modest too).
My problem is that I am looking for a FP residency in NY, Mass or California that will sponsor my H1B visa. Anyone know of any? I have been e-mailing programs but usually get a response from the secretary saying that they don't sponsor visas. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to apply to those programs, eh?
Any advice would be appreciated.

The following programs in California accept only J1 Visas:

- Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, Martinez
- Doctors Medical Center, Modesto
- Mercy Medical Center, Merced
- San Joaquin General Hospital, Stockton
- Mercy Medical Center, Redding
- Sutter Health, Sacramento
- UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento

No sense in applying to any programs that won't accept your type of Visa... they cannot hire you.
