Has anyone done habitat for humanity volunteering? I live in a big city with about 10,000 positive cases and I signed up for a volunteering shift. It looks like I will be doing some work outside?

Do you think it’s safe? Should I not go? This is my first time doing it.

i am surprised they are letting you volunteer. my local HFH closed all volunteering opportunities. what kind of volunteering did you sign up for? is it construction or ReStore?
if you are really concerned about your health, volunteering can wait. it is not worth putting yourself and others you love at risk.

We closed all HFH in Phoenix. They are starting to allow some leadership (no new volunteers, general volunteers, or groups) back to work on houses using gloves, masks, small teams, etc.

If you are worried about safety, then I would hold off for a while.
