Hi guys... I'm going to be an M1 next year and I'm just wondering how you guys who are in school right now feel about your decision. Please be honest.

The poll sample will be really self-selecting, so it shouldn't be worth anything to you. Besides, most of the people posting here are 1st and 2nd years, so we know very little about medicine.

4th year who just learned that he & his s.o. have matched. Thursday will know where. I'm ecstatic to be going into EM and to know that my s.o. will be with me, too. Hard road, but well worth it to follow my dream.

Hang in there. If you're doing it for the right reasons, there's no question it's worth it.

However, the poll isn't asking what voters know about medicine - it's asking how you'd rate your overall experience w/med school so far. I think even a lowly 1st or 2nd year student could answer. 🙂

Well, it is asking us about our decision to go into medicine rather than to go to medical school. White coat ceremony aside, I'm definitely not in medicine yet. Call me in 10 years.
