Trek, how do you know that this is a joke? Is it not conceivable that someone is able to pull this off (as in getting accepted to all of these schools)?

I couldn't resist an urge to paste this graemlin here: ...then, I feel, what the F*%^%^k, what's wrong with my profile!!!

For real, if you're a CA resident, UCSF is the one!!! Half the tuition cost and a great wonderful location. If you're not, well, think about which school program (traditonal vs non-traditional, research vs primary..etc) is best tailored to your need. Other important factors for me are the location, living cost, student body (I want to be with happy, non-competitive students).

I'm inclined to think you're joking but if not.......UCSF definitely if you're a CA resident. If not, whichever one you liked best, fits your style of learning best, or is in the location you liked best.

Thanks a lot guys. However, I'm from arizona, so none of what you guys said have helped me so far. :( I am leaning towards primary care but not completely sure. Location doesnt really matter for me. What do you guys think?

    Hi Playa,

Could you please post your stats and the EC or other things that you think helped you get in everywhere? I'm interested in Harvard, Yale, Hopkins so I'd like to see how I compare to those accepted.

    Thanks soo much

Playa-it's tough to get into schools before they send out their decisions.

It's a joke because 2 of those 5 schools havent yet sent out decisions. And being in Arizona, it's kind of improbable that the Duke decision got to his place yet. --Trek

:D It's pretty funny how you got so many people worked-up, playa.

It's also a pretty funny joke...but it would have been better if you had waited 2 weeks so that all the schools on your list had actually sent out acceptances by that point. Also, you should have said you were interested in research, not primary care. That might have made it a little more believable.

But it's still funny. Play on, playa...

Hey, I wasnt joking around. A week ago, I really got in to all 5, in my dream. All i wanted to know is in real life, which would my fellow sdners help me pick. I know it's a stressful time of the year for applicants (including myself), but you guys need to chill, stop "playa hatin," and remember all things are possible through God.

Sounds like a riddle to me.

So...in this source of "competition" for spots...why would God choose one person over the other? Is it b/c this person is a better human being? Why are so many people rejected? Sorry, just the belief in God isn't gonna make your first choice come through.

You gotta stop trolling around man....just trying to start $hit everywhere...

Alright, just needed to clear stuff up for some ******ed people on this website. "in my dream" = a hypothetical post. sorry, i'm not a lying competitive premed who is trying to screw people, so get off my back. i didnt give any false information that would mislead or hurt any applicant's chances. all this is is a hypothetical question made as realistic as possible so that EVERYONE (and not only the top candidates) can discuss dream schools. (thank you for screwin it up).

i didnt insult anyone so why you talkin crap and bustin out all these sarcasms. oh you're a hacker now. so what is my address, my social security number, my ethnicity? what else should you dig up, because you're wasting your time. all i was asking was, in my dream ((((((((((hypothetically)))))))))))))), i got into these schools, which do u think i should pick? u dont have to be such a prick.

as for the other sarcasm, why is the world not fair? let me think...why was jesus, the sinless Son of God, tortured and painfully crucified? I think you can find some answers in the bible or in prayers. i'd rather not discuss religions on this website, because it would take forever even in person. that line was given for people who already have faith in God, and who already can relate with my quote (not you).

hey all other insults welcomed. i know it's a stressful time. vent it all on me. hell yeah, keep it on coming. oh yeh, the two other people talkin crap to me, f u too.

If you want a discussion about these big bad a$$ schools then just start a thread. Don't try to come off all smooth by saying you got into all them...let it run..then say it was a dream.

So then, to answer my one question...Are you really from Arizona? Or did you just LIE so people would "carry on discussing" these big fellas? Simple question. If you ARE from Arizona, my bad..I apologize...but i don't think an arizona person would be getting interviews at EVERY (or close to every) UC school...like you have...

I don't know why...I am getting into a lot of arguments on here lately..I think I am going to take a break. Oh, visit the lounge sometime. We have many great discussions about God Almighty in there .

For me, the question would be: Harvard, Duke, Yale, UCSF, or Johns[will take me off their freaking waitlist]? Not that I even got interviews from them :D

This question itself contains a problem (bug). We humans live in 3 a dimensional world with physical limit. But the deity of God is omnipotent and limitless. We can come out with 1000 questions seem unsolvable for humans' ability of comprehension, because our sense, ability of comprehension, concept of the universe and physical law, are all built upon the limited reality we encounter and its limited presentation. In comparing to God, (the definition God), is of course insignificant. We are bonded by imperfect questions because we are imperfect. If we have the wisdom of God, (definition God), we wouldn't ask questions like this- questions that are also bonded by limited universe, concept, physical law. Definition God is omnipotent, not limited by all laws, the creator of all law and timeless. Timelessness: Start of the space is the start of time (General Relativity Theory). Before the start of space, (before the beginning of the universe), there therefore was no time, therefore there was no such concept as "before." It's beyond the ability of today's theoretic physics.

And believing in God doesn't need sense, but faith. (otherwise uncultivated men won't deserve gospel.) For faith is not built upon things that you see or you know or you verify. Things you can test and verify are flat fates. Faith is certain of things that you do not see.
