harvard secondary finalized?

Anyone have confusion finalizing Harvar's secondary last night? I got about 6 emails saying that my "application was received, please be sure to finalize." which worries me. I clicked the finalized box and was directed to the payment page. But no email saying "your application is finalized." Can anyone who is complete at Harvard tell me if I should have gotten an email saying this?

Well, either way, looks like they took my $. Great.

don't worry. I finalized my application sometime last week and I got the same response. You just get the e-mails saying "application was received, please be sure to finalize." And then the final e-mail from [email protected] with the title "Thank you for your order." If you wanna make sure you can check their status page http://application.hms.harvard.edu/page80.asp
it should show up there if you're complete. Mine got updated just a few minutes after I payed.

yeah mine too, but that is because their page still stays they haven't received my letters which is not true. I had sent them over a month ago and someone at their office confirmed that they had in fact received them. So I guess the page will say complete once that is updated.

So yeah, I would say the status page in general in slow, except it is a good way to figure out if your application got submitted successfully.

If you are really freaking out you can call them, but if your application is finalized and certified and you know all other material are cool, don't worry about it. And I have heard that those pre-interview cuts from Harvard come pretty soon. So don't worry if you wait a while either.

uproarhz, thanks a lot for quelling the anxiety. i think this is in fact what happened, as my premed office seems to have just confirmed. they don't update the "letters received" until after the submission is processed, which takes about a week. thanks for you help 👍
