OHSU just mailed their secondaries out a couple weeks ago; I highly doubt they've had much of a chance to invite many people for interviews.

I know Penn State has been interviewing for some time.

also, ohsu mailed secondaries months ago. I think they screen and predominantly give preference to western states.

what i meant by screening was not MCAT/GPA, but rather by location. I have friend from Boston who has higher stats than me who didn't get a secondary but I did receive a secondary because I am from California.

Yes, they screen 50%. TPR med school book says they receive total of ~ 2,500 apps, but I don't trust that #. It's probably higher.

They just sent me one. But originally, made a mistake & sent me a rejection. In that letter it lists the minimum requirements in order to receive a 2ndary:

science GPA - 2.80
all other GPA - 2.80
mcat - 24 on most recent

These #'s are quite low, but I'm thinking that they look @ other factors as well. They love non-trads!!!!
