Just wondering if anyone had recently got off the waitlist at Dartmouth? I think they said they expected the majority of the movement to occur in late May or so.

Thanks

On the waitlist also. Do you think or know that there would be some waitlist movement prior to May 15th? Thanks! 🙂

I have heard nothing since my Feb 21st interview <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

I don't think they will even consider taking people off the waitlist until May 15.

"The earliest one might expect to hear of any movement on the Waiting List is late May"

Unless I'm missing something (do tell) no one has even received the official waitlist reply card.

Yes, it is true that is their official policy. I have not yet received the postcard either. But sometimes, schools don't go by their official policy. I believe Yale said they would not have their waitlist ranked in tiers until the end of April, but they are already accepting people off the waitlist. Just wondering..... 😕

i interviewed in early January and haven't heard anything yet.
should i assume i'm rejected?
or is the mail lost?!?

i should probably call but i'm too lazy.

I think the later the better.... 🙂
I think you will get accepted...
Good luck.

haha Legi, thanks for the positive encouragement.

i don't think later is always better...! 🙂

i'll probably call them at the end of the week.

Unless I'm missing something (do tell) no one has even received the official waitlist reply card.•••••I think immediately following May 15, the committee will meet and review the entire waitlist pool again and rank the applicants. This process should take about one or two weeks. Late May sounds reasonable to me.

Player...you right. I read that blurb too. But going on what botticelli said, I was wondering if anyone had gotten in before the late May date set. And I guess no one has. So Late May it is.

I withdrew my acceptance from Dartmouth awile back, but I never heard anything back from them. I'll contact them again about it.

Hopefully that will open up a slot for one of you if they forgot to cancel my acceptance yet.

Hi,
I interviewed on march 28 and got the letter yesterday; a friend of mine also got his acceptance letter yesterday and he interviewed 4 weeks prior to me.

ramkijai - are you saying you just got accepted or accepted off the waitlist? Thanks!

I just got accepted but I posted because during my interview they told us we were the second to last group to be interviewed and that they hold spots open throughout the entire interview "season". So now that they have finished interviewing they can fill those open spots finally. Since some people had not heard anything for awhile this may be the reason and so there may be reason to think that in the near future more people who have been waiting will get the good word.

Congrats Ramkijai!

Do any of you know people that got into the dartmouth/brown program? I wonder if it takes longer to hear from them because the process involves 2 sets of administration

I got my waitlist today
