Has anyone heard from Hopkins or Emory post interview?

I was just at Hopkins this past friday. They told us that the committee was meeting on 12/17 and acceptances would be out before christmas. otherwise, u just assume u are waitlisted, and will find out which tier you are on in april. long wait 😛

I heard from Emory about three weeks ago

according to the sheet given out at emory, if u interivewed before this week today was the date of notification -> Doh!

Hopkins should be sometime this week for the people who interviewed early till late October.

hey,

i havent heard from hopkins yet..i had my interview on the 26th of October...they said we would hear in December...but some ppl are saying we hear really soon if we interviewed in late october..i dont know if i want my rejection letter so soon...🙁 heheh

i interviewed at emory on october 11th and i got an acceptance call on the 22nd and got my letter in the mail on the 24th or so...

Well, I interviewed at Hopkins early September - they said 2nd week of November would be when we would hear if we got in. So, some time this week (hopefully)...😕

I heard that the admissions committee at Hopkins will be meeting on Nov 14th
Can anybody confirm this?
If true, I guess phone calls will be made on the 15th

hey guys and gals,

first off, congrats to those who heard from dean white! i remember his phone call in september made my entire senior year.... 🙂 now you can relax and go into your other interviews without as much of the stress--now the very worst case scenario for you is that you attend hopkins. (and hopkins rocks, so that's awesome).

I got the call from Dean White too, he left a message. Worst case scenario: he needs a new application from me since everyone who saw mine laughed so hard they cried all over it and the ink smeared and the paper tore. Best case scenario: I'm in!

Any chance that we'll be getting a call tomorrow, or do you think the rest of us are waitlistees? Did I hear somewhere that everyone gets waitlisted, or is it waitlist and rejection?

bump - and does anyone know if Dean White will be making any phonecalls later this week?? He did say that he personally carefully looks over every applicant's credentials after they have been admitted to make sure everything is in order - I would think that looking over a handful of accepted students' files would probably take a while. So, maybe there's still hope....Does anyone from JHMI have any insight into whether my conjecture is true or not (or am I just overly optimistic)?
