I already have the VH dissector program:

http://www.toltech.net/products/vh_dissector/index.htm

and I saw their "virtual edge" software to accompany it:

http://www.toltech.net/products/virtual_edge/index.htm

which looks like an awesome prosection guide to go through before gross lab; BUT I can't seem to find any reviews of the software.

Has anyone tried this out? I'd like to know a little more about it before I sink $75 into an unknown program.

Thanks!

I got a copy online and I did not like it one bit. The images were extremely grainy and it didn't contribute anything to my understanding of anatomy. If you want to learn anatomy the best place to start is by watching dissection videos.

Was the copy just VH dissector, or with the virtual edge? If you found any virtual edge lessons, do you mind me asking where?

I actually don't mind the image quality just because the cross sections make it worth it for me. My profs like to throw them into practicals, so this is way better than just memorizing the pics in lab.

I'm more concerned with whether or not the lessons from the virtual edge part are detailed and thorough.

Bleh my bad. I didn't read your post correctly at all...I haven't done virtual edge. Just played around w/ dissector pro.
