Has anyone used the new Pestana Surgery book?

Do you read the entire thing of the 249 page notes or skip the first section?

From what I can tell, Pestana book + Pestana notes = Kaplan notes.

But the Pestana book also has the 180 questions that I don't think are included anywhere else. I bought the book because it was cheap on Amazon and could fit in my pocket. I don't regret it even after looking at the Kaplan notes.
