ive been complete at NYMC for over 3 months, and heard nothing... just wondering if they have starting sent out rejections, or if there is still hope?

Do you mind me asking how you thought your NYMC interview went? I mean you got an acceptance to Drexel I see. Some M1's from NYMC said post-interview rejections are rare but I have seen a good number of people rejected post-interview from sept/october. I also wonder why they havent gotten back to people who interviewed in early Nov yet..its been like 12 weeks. Thats an insane wait...

I think it went well, but not great. My interviewer was very flat (he gave me the dead fish handshake), so it was hard to really bring my full "A game" for fear of being too over the top. Honestly, I was pretty surprised at the rejection since I interviewed so early in the season, (the second day!) I thought they liked my application. I have a feeling it had more to do with a "red flag", such as my taking physics at a CC than my interview.

From my experience, it's hard to judge your chances based on your interview. My interview at NJMS was very brief, arround 20 minutes tops, and was accepted on oct 15, whereas I thought I completely rocked my interview at RWJ and was waitlisted four months later. I can't complain though since I did get in somewhere.

I think the original question meant whether NYMC has sent out any pre-interview rejections? Now, I would like to know that too, I have been "under review" since August.

I dont think they reject until the spring.

I have been under review since Sept and haven't been rejected yet. Something nice to look forward to in the spring! 😛
