lol... premed stuff is the least of my worries. 15 hours of class + 1 hr studying + 5 hrs clinical volunteering/wk << 40+ hr/wk full-time job (clinical) and stress & responsibilities of premed courses + volunteering << stress & responsibilities of planning a medical missions trip (my other major time-limited task this year).... At the moment, my research is pretty relaxed. We're basically in the process of getting a publication turned out.
I have plenty of time for ECs from martial arts to music to church...
Although I have to admit... I wrote a letter to a reporter one time a few years ago after reading her article in which she talked about how college students have too much time on their hands and too few responsibilities. I detailed an average day, including classes, job, ECs, etc. I quickly got a response back apologizing for her blunder and how my day made her exhausted just looking at it, lol. I found it kind of funny. Hopefully it changed her thoughts on "lazy college students" a bit.
