Is anyone having their significant other move with them to medical school to work? Or, has anyone ever tried it? Does it work? How have you made it work?

Thanks

My girlfriend will be joining me at med school in the fall. She will be attending nursing school. We haven't lived together before, so I am a little apprehensive.

Try changing the title to "girlfriend/boyfriend" or "significant other" and you might likely get more attention from the female readers. 😀

Wow, I'm in the same boat. My girlfriend and I have been together just over a year and a half and haven't lived together before. She's going to find a job when I start school. Pretty intense isn't it?

i gave up my first choice school to join my boy friend in montreal because his job is there. so despite how much i hate the cold weather in montreal, i decided to go to mcgill in the end. i mean, i only did this because i know that we're heading somewhere with this. plus, it's not like i'm getting any lesser of an education at mcgill, so...

my girlfriend will be joining me wherever i choose to go. since she is a teacher, the prospect of finding a new job is not very intimidating. my situation is a bit different it seems though since we have already been living together for 2.5 years.

i tried telling my gf to move from LA to minnesota. she wouldn't even be able to watch grass grow, since it's all tundra. i couldn't bring myself to ask - and i won't unless i have a light blue tiffany bag in my hand to distract her. i couldn't put her through something i wouldn't do myself.
