I want to start reading up on health care reform (and the state of health care policy) in america... does anyone have any good books to suggest as starting points?

I just read one called Who Killed Healthcare by Regina Herzlinger, a Harvard econ. prof. It was pretty good, though it's from two years ago, so some of the economics predate this market crash and recession, which change things a bit. Still, some interesting ideas...

I read Healthcare Meltdown by Robert LeBow and then updated by C. Rocky White...it was pretty good...informative.

"A Second Opinion" by Arnold Relman served me well during interviews. It's short and sweet.
