Is there anyone here who has worked as a healthcare consultant during their gap year(s) before applying? I would be very interested to get your perspectives, especially if anyone has recently gone through an application cycle with it on your resume.

Specifically, I'd love to know if you felt like you benefited from gaining a different perspective on the industry.

I haven't personally, but I have several friends who have. They seemed to enjoy it, and it definitely gave them insight into the industrial/business side of healthcare.
