I'm putting together a program for my classmates on health care workers including nurses and physicians who've survived cancer -- and the impacts their experiences have had on their patient care. I'd like to ask for any ideas on questions I should ask my guest speakers to address. what professional, personal or even ethical issues would you want them to discuss if you the audience??

I'd appreciate any input, thanks!

I worked with a hospice RN who was diagnosed with colon CA. I always wondered how she was able to keep working with hospice patients, many of whom had the same daignosis. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to separate what was going on with herself and be present physically and emotionaly for the patients and families.
