Heard of CanHelp?

Hi
Has anyone heard of CanHelp private Loan program for med/dent students? How was your experience & do you recommend it? I've heard that their interest rate is good (prime + .5%) as suppose to most banks which are prime + 1% but the catch is that their "Initial Fee" is very high. CanHelp is good because you can borrow large amounts and defer repayment till you graduate. However, they compound their interest quarterly! I went for the bank loan/ line of credit from BMO. Whatever I can't cover with that, will borrow from CanHelp.

To the OP: try the SDN Financial Aid forum. There are aid specialists there, and you'll probably meet many more students who can give you the feedback you are wanting.
