So, how many of the MD/PhD programs visit this website to learn the REAL DEAL about the applicants?

I imagine that some of the offices/commitees have to know about it (even if informed by incoming students). I'm sure they could learn a lot about the perceptions of their programs, and about what the applicants are REALLY thinking (as opposed to whats on paper) by coming here!

Does anyone have stories of studentdoctor.net translating into the physical world of MSTP?

As far as I have seen, only students read the actual forums, PDs don't really bother with that. You'll notice very often students check in and give their school a little cheer whenever possible. This is called cheerleading. You will do it too as soon as you commit somewhere. Now, interview feedbacks are often read by adcoms, because they directly assess the feelings surrounding interviews.

I'm afraid I can't (or maybe just shouldn't) really discuss how I know this.
